When our business obviously requires specialist skills, we prefer to go spend hours learning how to do those stuff, or perhaps spend some bucks for an online course or books.

If there is one thing I’ve learned over the years, its that you can’t do it all and expect the best of results

Tackling everything by yourself will not work.

You spent months learning how to create a complicated WordPress theme or plugin, instead of using a better user-friendly plugin or theme that works absolutely well.

You need a very compelling post for your websites, so you decided to spend about $1.5k for 2 months copywriting course instead of getting someone do it for you in less than a week and with a much lesser price.

You waste time by personally handling the administrative tasks such as customer support instead of hiring a virtual assistant.

And so on….

Reasons why many people prefer to do it all by themselves

  1. Budget
  2. Control
  3. Procrastination

Remember you are only one person, and you can’t assume all the roles; the CEO, the content creator, the marketing manager, the customer service provider. You can’t do all these things if you want to succeed.

3. Trying to be the second version of someone else.

We all know that the quickest way to build an online business is to tap into a wealth spring of an existing profitable market. Honestly, we can only call a market healthy if other businesses are already thriving in it.

Some of the business gurus are your role model, they are already living big and very successful. It’s normal to aspire to be like them, but there is a danger in copying a role model too much. You will only end up creating a copycat, a business that can’t be differentiated from others that are already established in the market.

Let’s say you’re a huge fan of Neil Patel. So you decided to target the same audience as Neil, you write headlines like Neil, you tell stories like Neil, and you even imagine how to create products like Neil.

But the honest truth is, you are not Neil, and no matter how you try, you’ll always be a pale imitation.

The question is would readers who resonate with Neil’s content and style read your blog instead of his, or even as well as his.

Be original

It doesn’t mean you can’t build a blog as popular as Neil.

Great advice! You need to think long-term and most beginners are too impatient and aren't prepared to sacriggice anything to develop their business, So it fails...

This my NOT TO DO list. Being original is what I like most because you can waste a lot of time and get frustrated trying to make your site look like some one else.
Thank you for the training.
