V: Traffic and Keyword Research
Traffic? What traffic? That is a big problem, right?
How do we entice folks to get to know us, trust us, look at our products and then purchase them. It seems there are four (4) steps in there. They are often overlooked by new marketers.
If I wanted to catch that skunk that is eating my chickens, I would first find a trap. Then I would bait the trap. When the skunk took the bate, I would see the trap slam shut and I would then own a skunk which my neither my wife nor her caregiver would let me keep around the house.
When I was a boy, we liked to catch birds. We couldn’t keep them long or they might die, so we let them go.
But to catch them, we sprinkled grain around on the ground. The feed formed a trail and as the birds fed, they automatically followed that trail.
Finally our grain trail led into a wire funnel which led into a cage. The birds could just turn around and walk out but there was that big pile of luscious grain in the middle of the trap. When they saw they were trapped, they flew instead of turning around and walking out. They were ours.
Well, maybe that is all you need to know about marketing.
You will need to know something about keywords to trap our “birds.” I use JAAXY which Kyle and Carson and their crew developed especially for affiliate marketers.
