So ...

Upon activation, you'll notice a new "Countdown Timer" menu item in your Wordpress admin area.

Skip the intro page and go to Countdown Timer => Add Timer to create a new timer.

Start by adding your milestone name as the title for the new countdown timer:

Keep in mind that the new timer will use the timezone set in your Wordpress site settings. If you want to change the timezone for a specific countdown timer, then you'll have to go to Settings => General to update your settings.

Next, you'll have to define the expiry date:

Finally, you can customize the look of your timer by adjusting/selecting options like animation style, background and foreground colors, circle width, countdown width, etc.

Once you are satisfied with your choices, don't forget to hit the "Publish" button!

OK. Now let's see the magic ...

Hey Zed,
Excellent training subject. I can see its usefulness already.

I have a question: in lesson three, you show a screen shot of the plugin date and expiry date. Also shown is the circle, which is labeled smooth. After that, nothing is filled out. Are these default settings?

The date must be picked using the calendar feature shown in the screenshot ... Which obviously, it's a relative date (variable) so there is no default setting for that option ...

As far as I remember, the smooth anymation type is the first option in a drop-down list, so yes, you could say that is a default option.

That is a handy dandy trick, and may be useful later. Glad you have all your training where we can access it when we need it.
