Duplicate Content Checker

Knowing that plagiarism leads to penalty in Google; plagiarized content can deliver the wrong message to search engines. Whether the content is plagiarized across your website or just in certain locations online, search engines will ensure that every page is relevant to the search queries.

You’ll have to ensure no plagiarized content is found on your site. And if it’s found, you’ll need to rewrite such content to ensure it is unique and original. To avoid plagiarized content, you need to use a plagiarism checker. Here are some free or paid tools to help you detect plagiarized content on your site:

  • Duplichecker: Like other plagiarism checkers out there, Duplichecker would let you search files, text, URLs, and more. With this plagiarism detector, you can avoid plagiarized content by comparing pages of your website.
  • Siteliner: Quite deeply, Siteliner will detect broken links, plagiarized pages, redirects and more. In terms of plagiarized content, it shows pages with plagiarized content and what percent of the pages is plagiarized. So, the result will be represented in a graph.
  • Copyscape: This is a service that helps check plagiarism online. Copyscape is leveraged by blog owners to detect special cases of “Content thievery” in which part or the whole of the content is plagiarized without the site owner’s permission.

You are most welcome, Tim. Yes, I was once a newbie like you a couple of years ago. The worst part is that there wasn't a way to get helpful resources like these then to develop with quickly, except those blog posts I was constantly reading. So, you stand the chance to develop more quickly than I did earlier. Thanks for your great passion towards learning! You rock.

Israel, one question: Isn't the plagiarism checker in our site content page sufficient? It checks and will not publish if the content is not original.

Hey FKelso, thanks for reading this training! Yes, the plagiarism feature in our Site Content platform is fine. One thing about blogging is that you do not restrict your checks to one single tool, but leverage a collection of tools to ascertain your efficiency and be sure you are in good standing. Thanks for asking!
