There are 2 stats for comments, Visitor Engagement which tells you how often people are commenting on your site, and Your engagement with Visitors.

Which tells you how often you engage with your audience.

Comments help build your sites trust and authenticity around the internet so you should always encourage people to leave you some feedback.

A great way for this is to utilize the site comments tool here in WA.

To request a comment you have to first give 2 comments to 2 different sites.

Now I encourage you to leave engaging comments, don't just comment on the layout of the website. That's what the site feedback is for. You should question the creator or if you agree with their blog tell them what you agree with.

Now once you start receiving comments it would be best to respond to them.

Why?

Because as Kyle has said in his training comments are also content.

I once commented on someone's blog (Can't remember who sorry :( ) and that comment had actually ended up ranking under my name for a while. Not sure if it's still there though I haven't checked.

Also, if visitors comment to your site and see that you have been replying to comments then it will make them trust you a bit more and they might then leave you a comment.

People never like to be the first to do something so if they see that others have commented and you have responded then they might ask you a question about the product you are promoting or the article that you wrote which could possibly lead into a sale.

The site health goes up 10% each month the site is online. Takes 10 months.to get to 100%.

It depends, though because it's been a month and I haven't gone up in trust.

I think that the Site trust updates monthly and since I haven't yet reached a certain amount of blogs maybe like 7-10 then it hasn't moved up.

My animation site has 20% trust and it's only been up for a month as well.

Seems like it is true because my first site I started was six months ago here at WA and it is sitting at 60%. Interesting.

No problem :D I always take a look every now and then just to see if everything is still okay. If I haven't been on my site in a while I tend to look just in case my frequency went down.

I read a blog from Steve (I'vetriedthat) and I need to make a schedule for posting :)

Yeah I've been getting into scheduling posts to auto-publish throughout the week. Helps keep things fresh, and doesn't bombard subscribers too much all at once.

Yeah, I don't have a set schedule, but I always make sure to space out my content.

The Site Trust thing is a bit of a mystery to me. For example I have one site with 82 posts which I have recently migrated to WA hosting. Maybe it's due to recently moving to the new server or something but this site is few years old now. I'd like to know more about how to improve site trust more quickly.

I am still a bit fuzzy myself with the site trust, but as I understand more I will update this training xD
