Auditing Your Local Search Ranking

  • Clear your browser cache and history.
    • Launch a private browser window and go to Bing.com or Google.com.
    • Search for your city and industry. Did you see your business appear in search results? If yes, were you showing up near the top, or could you only find your business after clicking on “View more” and scrolling to the bottom?
    • Search for the name, location or phone number of your business.
    • Sort for your business through the local directories. Affirm, correct and complete your name, address, phone number and URL (NAPU). Some directories offer paid services while others may be used for free.

But note, customers love interacting with enterprises leveraging an integrated marketing technique. In as much as you’ve tried working on building your local search presence, you must get more client reviews, build an ideal social media presence and run paid advertising to reach out to more prospects.

This integrated technique will help position your local business well on the map and enable users to find you and choose your listing.

Hey Tim, thanks for taking the time to read this training tutorial as always, my friend! Much appreciated! I want you to know that it has rewards for you as you get more exposure from the organic traffic that these trainings generate every day. Most readers always wait to read the comments before clicking away and when you leave attention-grabbing comments, visitors are likely to visit your profile and, then your website. So, it has organic rewards leaving attention-grabbing comments.

If you only read but don't leave comments, nobody knows you ever read, not even Google. So, the reward is little when you only read and do nothing more. I congratulate you on understanding this great secret! It will help move your business forward - meaning - you'll generate organic traffic to your WA profile and website over time by leaving relevant comments on those trainings. Congrats for your mind!

Thanks for leaving a thought, Jeff! Much grateful! Yes, local search marketing can help boost your reach in the local market. It can also help your online business reach out more easily to your target audience. Remember; you can add your website address while in the process of setting up your Google My Business (GMB) listing. This is how it can help your business grow in no distant time.
