CTA – Call to action, is actually a simple “order” or a statement to your reader about the actions you want him or her to do. You can have readers on your site, blog, article, and you can have also viewer of your videos, listeners of your audio podcasts, but using call of action, you want to entice all of them to take specific action.

This can be almost everything you want them to do, like:

  • You may want them to subscribe to your newsletter, like: ““Subscribe to Newsletter”
  • tell them to send you a message: “Send us a message”
  • use call to action to ask them to subscribe to your YouTube channel: “Subscribe now to our ...”
  • offer them to contact you through your contact form: “Contact us ...”
  • Simply tell them to check your new eBook: “Check our new eBook now..”
  • suggest them to buy your e-course: “Buy now ...”
  • “Add to Shopping Cart”
  • “Register now” ...

Call to action is actually pure invitation to buy. to read, to listen, to view or to do something on the page or post. Some people, especially newbies, when starting their online business and creation of their content are not certain about if they should use CTA or not, because either, they are afraid that their content is not appealing or valuable enough, or the product or service are is too expensive or provides not enough value. Thus, missing to offer their creation to the broader audience.

There are many reasons why people don’t use CTA on their content, but maybe the most important one is that they don’t know how to create one.

If that is the main reason for not implementing this technique into their daily online marketing activities, then they definitely need to start working on it, to educate themselves about it and to start practicing adding it to their posts, blogs, offers in general.

Having CTA, mostly, at the end of the offer, or invitation, or advice, is unavoidable part of every serious content creation in terms of wanting the audience to take some action and to achieve conversions.
