To be honest with you, we gotta go much further back in time to get the full understand of what branding is all about. We're going back to the ancient Romans and Egyptians days, back to when that bible character moses was setting free the slaves and splitting The Red Sea.

You better believe in this, branding was a serious issue back then. They were marking their livestock with all kind of symbols, poking them with hot rods, scaring them to keep their eyes on their territory, ruthless folks I tell ya.

That place will have you running out of there leaking your information all over yourself. That their brand you know, messing up your personal brand.

Thats right, branding is more that just a name, it's a set of marketing communication methods, that help distinguish a company from its competitors. It creates a lasting impression in the mind of customers. I know you read that over in Wikipedia, it worth mentioning twice.

Branding crawled its way into our businesses by way of trademarks. That's just my fancy way of saying branding is your company's logo, it name, and your business identity. You get it now, right? Let's move on to the next step.
