Free Versus Paid Website Traffic
When you're on a budget, there isn't much choice, but to go with the free sources I have mentioned above and on previous pages. I and many other seasoned marketers gain a huge amount of traffic for free. As with both methods, it simply takes practice and more practice, tracking and tweaking. But, don't be thrown by the term "free". Social media marketing is huge and many companies use this alone to drive traffic to websites.
I have seen a guy create a detailed response to a Quora question that he created a year ago and he is still getting hundreds of hits per month to his website from Quora alone. Now, that being said, he created an awesome Quora profile page and learned to seek out the questions on Quora that were the most popular in his niche. But, this built him up as an authority as well as the branding effect and website traffic for sales. All it took was his TIME! And, were talking about LONG-TERM traffic. Not the one-time type! Paid traffic is good when you're short on time and have the budget for it. Of course, this will work great IF you're careful and know what you're doing. You can lose your shorts with PPC if you don't set your daily budget correctly and go after high demand keywords right out of the gate. Be sure to check out Kyle's training on PPC and start slowly.
Well, as with all my training here on WA, I hope you found a few nuggets of info to add to your repertoire.
Cheers!
