Reports are that a name on your mailing list should be worth $1.00 per month. So if you have 1000 names they should generate $1000 each month. Ryan Moran told me he had a list of 50,000. Wow! No wonder he made over one-half million dollars in college. Collecting names by article marketing is free except for the list manager such as Aweber or Getresponse. With PPC you pay for these names. How much did they cost you for each one? Can you make a profit just from the names without any initial sales? Would it be cheaper to buy a list or a website with a list? Would it be cheaper to run ads on newsletters that lead to your vendor's site? You get to do the arithmetic.

Keywords are very important in PPC, more so than in other methods of site promotion. I use JAAXY developed by Kyle and Carson.

When you are looking for traffic, I suggest you look at all the options. PPC cost money to start and it is not all a bed of roses but sound thinking and adequate testing can bring consistent returns. The world is full of hot products to be promoted. You can be up and running in a very short time with PPC.

You must be careful if you use PPC by having Kyle or Carson check your campaign first and setting limits on what you are willing to risk. Just a reminder, Nancy. John

Thanks for the reminder of how we can advertise. Sometimes we get a one-track mindset and forget to do other things!

I think the best way is to pick a hot product and know the demographics for that product. You want buyers so be very specific in your ads and keywords. Cut out kids from your demographics for most products but not all. John
