2. Your SEO Skills
Google can tell how long you have been doing SEO and if you have mastered the skills, this will show in your ranking. It does not necessarily mean that a website can't rank well, but it does mean it will take longer.
Domains are considered new if they have been active for at least 6 months. After this period of 6 months, you will start to get serious traffic from search engines if your content is quality.
3. Clean Domain
This factor can either work for or against you in your search engine ranking. A clean domain is one that Google has not penalized either manually or algorithmically.
How do you know if your domain is completely clean?
A/ Log in to your Google Search Console (GSC), click on a website, and go to the dashboard. Next, from the Search Traffic menu, click the "Manual Actions" button. If the message "No manual webspam actions were found" appears, it means that there are no manual penalties.
4. Manual Actions Report in Google Search Console
B/ In addition to manual penalties, you should also look for algorithmic sanctions. Log into Google Analytics or the analytics tool of your choice and check for algorithmic penalties.
Choose Google as your traffic source. Set the date range starting at the beginning of each year. You can monitor for traffic changes and compare them with the Google algorithm history.
If there is a relationship between the dates that you lost traffic and the date Google made changes, then your website has been penalized. Depending on the type of change, you can begin working towards your recovery.
It's not worth your time to rank for terms on Google if your domain isn't clean. Google will not allow you to. It is best to start by cleaning your domain.
