7. Titles Optimized for SEO
An SEO-optimized title is more important than it seems. It can help you rank higher than a non-optimized title.
If you are a new blogger or webmaster with only a handful of incoming links to your site, then the title you choose will not rank you for anything.
Consider the following example:
The title "How long does it take for Google to rank" is SEO optimized. This term includes keywords and many people search for it in Google.
It's possible to rank for non-optimized titles quickly if you have a strong profile and website. If not, you must be more selective to get better results in a shorter time.
8. Content-Length
Indirect ranking factors include content length. A longer article on a topic will rank higher than a shorter one.
Why?
It is more likely that it will get backlinks or mentions (shares, likes) on social media networks and other site owners will notice it. There is great debate about the length of articles but to my mind, 1000 –1300 words is a short article (Google's favorite length), 2000-5000 is a long article, and 10,000 words would be considered a cornerstone or pillar post.
A post published on an existing website with a lot of quality posts will rank higher than one published on a site with only a few posts.
