3. Keep Your Readers Engaged
This is the part to building an engagement with your readers. It makes your blog posts more chatty. It helps your blog build more readership with time.
When readers know that they'll have their own part in the conversation/discussion, it would add a bit more to their interest to read and digest the post effectively and get ready for their own active participation.
In as much as readers know that they would be expected to leave a valuable thought on the discussion, they will read the post conscientiously and leave an authentic feedback on what they've read.
More readers will love to become great fans of your blog. More of them will desire to check out the latest posts on your blog. And more of them will choose to leave their comments on every post you publish on that blog.
Once you've successfully captivated your readers by making your posts more chatty, what are the productive things you need to do to keep them engaged:
- Write what they want to read, never what you (The writer) want to write for them.
- Visit their blogs occasionally, comment on their blog posts, post feedback and share their posts on social media.
- Encourage your readers to leave their comments once they've finished reading your posts, and respond to their comments on time.
- Give your readers guest post opportunities on your own blog; and
- Connect them to other influencers like yourself to help them turn their passion truly into a thriving online business.
