1. Use a Conversational Style of Writing
When it comes to creating content in such a conversational way, it calls for a myriad of tips and strategies which most veterans detrimentally ignored.
There's a clear difference between a classroom lecture and a discussion. While delivering a lecture in class, being a Mathematics tutor and trainer, I engage my class for a given period of time teaching and explaining things to the class in the express position of a teacher and the class of 30-40 learners also sitting and learning in the position of students, waiting for an opportunity to ask questions.
Usually, classroom teaching looks boring even to the class that's being engaged, let alone talking to the audience in an express manner. Although some teachers try to make their teaching more lively and conversational with their students, it's still going to make a difference from just entering into a discussion with some people.
2. Reach Out Directly to Your Readers
Do you try to write basically what your readers want to read at all? Or you just struggle to create content purposely to keep your publishing frequency up to 100% score, right? Well, it's good to maintain a 100% publishing frequency on your blog as this will give your readers a better user-experience and you'll get a better ranking for that of course.
But do you realize this only covers a very little in what it takes your blog to skyrocket to a first-page ranking in Google? Yes, publishing frequently without building a thorough engagement with readers is equal to zero traffic.
How do you try to reach your readers when you create content? How do you get in touch with them with what you write about?
To reach out directly to your readers, make sure to:
- Use a pro writing style (Using conversational or chatty writing style)
- Use a pro writing format (Using the "Top list" or "How to" posts)
- Feel your readers' feelings (Understanding their minds as touching possible challenges they might be facing)
- write informative and helpful posts (Publishing fresh and new ideas which may be totally new to them)
- Helping them solve problems right in your blog posts
