Introduction

At Wealthy Affiliate, we are always helping each other out by leaving comments on each of our websites. That is great practice and in alignment with showing one another support. Google's algorithms also favor comments, because that leads to more traffic when Google sees there is an active interest in our content.

I wanted to provide some tips on leaving appropriate comments on our fellow members websites. We always want to give POSITIVE, cordial and upbeat comments.NEVER make fun of someone's niche in the comments you leave on their websites. Not only does it make you look bad, it is also unprofessional.

After you have finished reading this training, check out another similar training I created on a Template for Creating a Comments on Others Websites.

Excellent tutorial. I completely agree about not adding stuff about WA in the comment when the site has nothing to do with WA. I have had this happen.

Was once told..."Words can hurt...choose yours carefully!" Was sage advice then and is even more important now! Thanks for the reminder Steph!

Great subject. It might be hard sometimes for people to remember that the comments on the site are there for everyone to see. Even though you can modify or delete them it is still a consideration. Positive comments help people move forward. Thanks for bringing this to everyones attention.

I think you are right. Sometimes people do not realize or perhaps forget that comments can be seen by everyone and if you are not nice or behave inappropriate you are showing yourself to the world as being mean and rude.
