DEFINITIONS

Let us first understand what CONGRUENCE is. Language is important and it helps us to understand the context and placement of things.

1. IN MATHEMATICS
"Congruent in math means to have the same shape and size. The term CONGRUENCE is used in Geometry to identify when two or more shapes have the same shape and size. When the shape and size are the same then the shapes are exactly equal to each other, even if they are turned or flipped." (SOURCE: study.com)

2. IN PSYCHOLOGY

"CONGRUENCE is a conditionin a therapeutic relationship that refers to the accurate matching of a person's experience with awareness. In person-centred counselling, the Counsellor's CONGRUENCE is believed as one of the helpful and significant aspects that facilitates Clients' growth in counselling." (SOURCE: University of Nottingham)

3. IN LEARNING
"CONGRUENCE means matching your verbal and nonverbal communication with the content and context of your learning material." (SOURCE: LinkedIn)

As you can see, there is one common thing emerging from these three (3) definitions.

CONGRUENCE means that two or more things are the same or are in agreement. We say that when there is CONGRUENCE, there is full or perfect alignment.

Keep this in mind as we move forward with our tutorial.

Interesting tips. I just use this method and come up with 3 ways to turn those negatives into positives.
I have stuck a note on my computer screen to remind myself to do those 3 positive actions.

HI, Thomas,

I appreciate the time you took to walk through this training on Congruence.
It is also good to know that the training was helpful.

Love the positivity in this tutorial. It always seems to be easier to think negative thoughts.

This is why there is so much negativity in the news. Disaster sells, positive stories are far fewer and gather much less viewing than negative ones.

Thanks,

Alex

And that is the essence of my 'Strategy Of Congruence', Alex.

A conflicted mind cannot move a body towards positive action and sustainable success.
I learned that the VERY hard way.
Self-sabotage is real and more frequent than we care to admit.

It all begins in the mind and the great news is that you can re-wire your mind.

It begins with self-talk and this series will help you to Change Your Script! 🙂

Thank you for your kind feedback.

I believe it Cassi.

I am finally making my way out of the doldrums. It has taken concerted effort and positive thinking to get here.

I always thought I was a positive person. It was not until I looked at it objectively that I saw the positives were superficial and I had to go deeper for change

I used to think that way too.

It was a challenge for me to understand why, after working so hard to build something for myself, I allowed it to be abused and implode.

The reality that I was my worst enemy hit me very hard.
Thankfully, I was able to hold on as I rode the rollercoaster of transformation and align with my truth.

Some bitter pills were swallowed and digested, I tell you.

I am happy to know that you are on the up and up again and I appreciate your sharing.

Very interesting, Cassi. It's true, that our thoughts become actions, that goes for both positive and negative thoughts.

When we continue along the 'story' that we are not good enough, we continue following that same belief.

There is power in the belief that WE CAN! The more we believe in ourselves that we CAN do something, the better we will feel about ourselves when we complete the task or goal we created.

If you are new to Wealthy Affiliate, take the time to look around. Start the training, ask questions, move forward on your new online journey. Create that website. You never know what you can do unless you make the effort to try something new.

This resonates with your comments, Rudy:
"There is power in the belief that WE CAN!"

You must first believe that you can, that you are capable and that you are deserving before you start to achieve and receive.

Never sell yourself short. 🙂

Thank you for sharing.
