In conclusion, forget about mass volume for now, and instead concentrate on ranking for highly targeted keywords which will result in sales. Then just build up more phrases and do deeper.

Rather than targeting ONE broad phrase which gets 20000 searches, it is much better to have 10 targeted phrases which each have 2000 searches. The total searches will be the same, but will convert to sales ten fold.

Once you see this working for you, it won't feel like work and you will want to do it more and more!
