I received lots of nice feedback on my IM Lazer Guide, but is also raised lots of questions about keyword research. Again, get keyword research wrong, and it really can be the nail in the coffin for your campaigns. So again, let me unravel the mysteries.
The first thing I want you to do is to stop trying to look for some amazing untapped keyword which gets tons of searches but is low competition. You could be searching for days, weeks,,months or longer.
The second thing I want you to do is not to worry as much about the actual search volume for that keyword. Of course, we all want more traffic but volume alone is not what results in sales.
Let me give it to you in a nut shell, and then we will break it down. Ok, so let's say you own a coffee shop and you sell nothing but coffee. You then get a bus load of people turn up who don't like coffee and only drink tea. How many sales will you make?
