One last thing you should do is to put Google away for a moment and really think like the visitor as much as possible. In this case, with the ex thing, pretend you have just been dumped and think about what YOU would type RIGHT NOW if you wanted to find information on how to get your ex back.

Now, ignore the fact that the Google Keyword tool might tell you there were no searches for that term, or there's not enough searches for that term, it DOESN'T mean there aren't people out there searching on that term. There most likely will be. This is especially true for new products which Google hasn't had time to collate the search data for.
