Pretty much all of the right side WordPress editor feature options are the same for pages and posts except for a couple of elements. Posts have Categories and Tags, but Pages do not. Where Pages have Page Attributes and Exclude Pages, but Posts do not.

WHAT IS PAGE ATTRIBUTES

You would use Page Attributes for not just modifying the attributes of your pages like switching the template look of the page or making it wider so there is no sidebar, but you would use it for the process of creating a drop down menu.

As seen in the above image, by default the “Parent” field is set to “No Parent” which is how all pages without drop downs should look. But let us say that you want to create a drop down menu from one of your pages in your website menu. You would then set the Parent Page to the page in the menu that you want the drop down menu to begin from.

I explain how to create a Drop Down Menu in my Part 2 of this training tutorial. In addition I also explain which areas of the All In One SEO Pack Meta Tags under the WordPress editor, should and should not be filled in and why. Click the below link for Part 2.

Thank you Randell. This has been one of my most information packed tutorials I have ever done and I even had to split it into a Part 2 because it was getting to be so long. Happy you liked it.

It is deinitely the fastest way to save our website content, and being that it is a native function within WordPress, it is really easy to do.

You are welcome Mark. I was going to make this training even longer but I had much more to say about WordPress and I didn't want this tutorial to be too long. So there will be a Part 2.
