When you choose to promote a product as an affiliate, it's always a good idea to try and put yourself in the shoes of the buyer. Would you buy the product you are trying to sell? You need to test a product and learn whether or not it's the type of product you want to be associated with!

I have touched on this subject before but I am going to do it again. You need to test the product out for yourself and find out if what the vendor says about the product is true. Nothing will send people away from your site faster than you promoting a product which is supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread!

There are a couple of points here...first...you don't want to be issuing refunds...second...you don't want people to be bad-mouthing not only the product but YOU as well! Believe me...it will happen.

If it was you, how would you feel? Before you offer any product for sale as an affiliate you need to know the product will stand up to what you say it will do for the buyer. Test the product and make sure that you really want your name or your company name associated with the product.
