This next business opportunity is the most-expensive of the two listed in this tutorial but the return on investment has the potential to be quite rewarding. You can now take this new hobby, learn it (there is a learning curve), and once you master it your first job could pay for you initial investment. So what kind of hobby is this?

CAMERA DRONES

Now that technology has made it possible to not just own a drone but to create aerial video and pictures, the potential for making big bucks are plenty. Just think of what you see on TV nowadays or in advertisements. Most of that aerial footage is being filmed by camera drones. The sports networks like ESPN use them at events, especially when panning over a golf court.

But how can you tap into the camera drone market and make some serious money? First you will need a drone and then you will have to get good at flying it, especially in tight spaces, like indoors, and I will explain why in just a bit. Once you are able to fly your drone effectively and land it without crashing, you will want to start mastering the filming aspect of flying.

As soon as you are able to do all of this fairly well, continue to practice at perfecting your craft. You will need to be near perfect to be able to get the higher paying gigs for the drone services you will provide. What are some of the services you can provide? Here are a few ideas.

• Offer aerial filming for insurance or building inspection agencies that offer damage assessment
• Offer aerial filming for local sporting events
• Offer filming of special occasions such as outdoor parties or weddings
• Offer filming for real estate agencies that are selling properties, both outside footage and inside footage (this is where being able to fly your drone indoors will be of an advantage and can earn you even more money)

Those are just a few applications in which to put your skills as a camera drone operator to use and earn some money. Obviously some types of jobs will require you to get a license from the FAA for operating a drone at high altitude, like that for working with a surveyor or mapping company that will require flying your drone high in the sky.

But like hemp, the camera drone business opportunity is still a fairly new market that has great and growing potential for making a lot of money. Sometimes all it takes is coming up with “outside-of-the-box” ideas for a new product and see how you can turn it into a money making business before it becomes too popular.
