Images are great for lens-appeal. While we want good content (words), we also need to appeal to the readers eye and keep them involved in our web page.

Adding an Image to the Intro Module

Again, click 'edit' on your intro module. Scroll down to where it says 'Upload an intro image'. Upload basically means to take it from your computer and put it on their site online. For this to work, you need to have the image you want to use on your computer.

Click 'browse' to tell Squidoo where to find the image on your computer, then click 'upload photo'.

Now you should see the image you just uploaded. If you do, click save. If you don't see it... try again

Now my intro module looks like this:

You can add images to your text modules the same way.

CONGRATS! You now have the basics to create your very own Squidoo lens!

PotPieGirl Tip: It's always a good idea to click "Save Draft" at the upper right hand of your lens throughout your creation process. This will NOT make your lens live to the world, but it WILL save the work you have done so far just in case....
