I was using the Yoast SEO plug-in prior to Wealthy Affiliate with good success, but All-in-One is just as good, perhaps even better, depending on the source of your research.
I switched over to All-in-One (AIO) because of the Wealthy Affiliate training and discovered the best settings for this to help my referrals and all members of WA. I wanted to be well-versed in both of these leading SEO plug-ins.
That being said, I recall when I first began using WordPress and learned how powerful social media marketing can be..... especially with young sites that don't really have much "trust" within the search engines. While you write and develop more unique engaging content for your websites, social media can get you some traffic more quickly than organic search on your keywords (depending on niche and keyword search analytical data - this is relative.)
But, I always recommend growing your social media following along with creating content for you website. Google and the other leading search engines use "social signals" (the 'buzz' created on social media platforms) as a ranking factor.
