Web Based Email
Now that you have your email account all setup, you probably want to actually use it. No problem. You can check your mail, read and reply to message and even create new email messages all from a simple to use webmail interface here at WA. To do so, just follow the steps below:
- Log into your account on the WA platform.
- Navigate to Websites > Site Manager (you can also select Site Domains, Site Feedback or Site Support).
- Click on Site Email from the options at the top of the page that loads. You can also get here and skip the above steps by following this link: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/email
- Find the email account you want to access and click on the Password button to reveal the password. Copy it or write it down but take note that sometimes copying it might also copy a blank space or other character that can cause problems when you paste it into the password field. If a copy and paste doesn't work, type the password in manually.
- Now that you have the password click on the Login to Webmail link. A shortcut to access your webmail directly is to simply type webmail.yourdomain.xxx where xxx is .com or .org, etc. into your web browser's URL field and hitting enter or clicking go. This will take you directly to your webmail interface for that domain.
- When the webmail page loads simply type in the first part of the email address for the account you want to access, the domain should already be correct.
- Enter the password for the email account into the Password field.
- Click Login.
Congratulations, you are now logged into your email account using the web based mail program!
You should now see your webmail interface. You can read, reply to, forward, delete, search through and even organize your mail all from this interface. Take some time to become familiar with it. Some features are also accessible by right-clicking on a message which will pop-up a sub-menu for you to select options from.
Don't forget to check the SPAM folder from time to time to make sure a legitimate message wasn't accidentally misfiled.
Here's a video I created to show the steps in action:
