You are so very right . Nothing worse than waiting excess time to see what a website is about , This waiting too long is the best way to loose a prospective customer .

Hi Sharon
After watching your video about reducing the image size I can say it is very well done.
Just a quick question:the picture size was reduced from 2.9MB to just over 300kb, which is great. But I think it is still a bit too large, I try to keep mine around 50kb. Can you try and reduce it even more? Or that's it?
Thanks a lot for another great piece of training!
Have a great day!
Cheers!

Hi BVisan, It's all personal preference, I do mine on high quality, but you can go to save for the web again and then go up to the top right. You will see several boxes one has a drop down and it gives you the choices of low, med or high quality. When you click on the medium and save it, you will notice that your file size will be smaller now. In most cases if the photo is a good one, the quality will still remain. If you found this helpful please click on your like button, it helps me too. Keep Smiling, Sharon:) Thanks again.

Hi Sharon
I clicked the like button already.
As you said, it's a matter of preferences.
I just think I need to keep the size around 50kb to make sure that the loading time will not be affected.
Thanks a lot for your help!
Have a great day!
Cheers!

Hi Sheila,
Thanks again for taking the time to watch my training video I really do appreciate it. No, I've only taught CPR and I was a First Aid Instructor, when I was a Paramedic in the first part of my working career. Basically, it comes from being self taught when building my businesses and being an Entrepreneur for the last 25 years. I love to learn and I like to help others. Keep smiling, Sharon:)

Hi Sharon:

This is an excellent video tutorial. Thank you for walking us through the process of optimizing am image in PhotoShop and bringing it into your website. Would it also work with PhotoShop Elements or GIMP?

Hi Steph, Thank you for your kind feedback on my training tutorial. You're very welcome, I'm always glad to help whenever I can. In answer to your question I create most of my work in Photoshop Premier elements and then upload it to my YouTube account to turn it into an MP4 format, which is basically a very small movie when all is said and done. I know of GIMP and they say in there description of what it does is that they can resize photos etc. but I've never used it. I found a review on several software programs that are out there. This has a lot of knowledge for anyone looking for a software to do this kind of work and there as you know some free ones too. These are here for anyone who would like to read the comparison reviews so they can make a decision. I hope this was helpful to you. Keep Smiling. Sharon:) here is the link for anyone to use.
