One great idea is to work consistently on a single project for a long time straight, without getting sidetracked. Use a simple countdown watch to time yourself, and work on that thing without doing anything else. If great ideas come to your head, don't check them out now! Write them down on a separate piece of paper and do them later.
A great tool I use is called ClockingIt. It allows you to create projects and tasks.
For example, you can create a task called "reading and answering emails." When you start with your emails, you press the start button, and when you finish, you press the stop button. You will be surprised at how many hours a week you spend on unimportant stuff.
So, remember that writing content is the most important thing, and that getting sidetracked will sidetrack your success.
Keep track of the time you spend on things, and don't squander it!
Limit your unimportant tasks, and you will be well on the way to success.
Here at WA we are receiving tons of email.
