Of course, there are other things to an online business besides writing content.

You need to install new plugins, find a great theme, create an email list, etc.

But think about this: If you are not getting traffic, what is the point of a creating and finding a new pop-up? What is the point of creating and tweaking a landing page and spending hours on it if nobody sees it? What is the point of finding a new email autoresponder company if you don't have enough traffic to build a list? What is the point of creating a new Adsense block or finding a new affiliate program?

Sure, these things are important, but unless you are already making money from your site, do not concentrate on these issues. Keep them to a bare minimum so that your site does not look like dump. It's a good idea to put aside an hour a week or so for these issues and not more.

Yes, doing these stuff is also called building a business, but it's like someone who knows how to polish diamonds and instead spends their time as a janitor cleaning toilets. Once you have enough traffic that little tweaks make big differences, you can concentrate on little tweaks. Not before that.

Then there is the learning issue, including time spent on WA. If you are just starting out, you should go through the Getting Started Course and the five courses. Do the tasks with each lesson, because they include writing content.

However, once you finish that, don't spend too much time on learning, but on doing! Of course, there is so much to learn, but you already know the basics that will lead you to success.

A good suggestion is to keep your learning vs working ratio 80/20, spending only 20 percent of your time learning.

An even better suggestion is to create a schedule where you do work only, and do the learning part in other free time that you have.
