My name is Marcus (that's me on the left with Jay and Kyle from WA in Las Vegas) and I’m the Super Affiliate Coach for the WA affiliate program.
I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit
more about the Super Affiliate program, and explain how it can help you
become one of our top WA affiliates.
First things first, take a look at our incentive program to see the rewards on offer to our Super Affiliates:

Where can I find my WA affiliate link?
Your own personal WA affiliate link can be found at the top of the following page:
Here’s my link as an example:
What actually happens when someone clicks on my WA affiliate link?
This creates what is called a "cookie" on the visitors computer, and this basically tags the visitor with your affiliate ID. This means that if they join they are connected to you via the cookie and you would earn a commission for the sale.
Cookies...that sounds a bit risky! Is it allowed?
Absolutely! Cookies are used by many companies online to remember details about returning visitors. It's perfectly legal, and a perfectly normal part of the affiliate marketing process.
Ok, I've heard that cookies only last for so long on a visitors computer, so how long does WA's cookies last?
WA has lifetime (never-ending) cookies!
How are commissions paid?
Affiliate commissions are paid on the 1st of every month, for your previous months earnings. So for example, if you earned $100 in May, you would receive that payment on the 1st June. Commissions are paid directly to the PayPal account that you have associated with your WA account.
How are yearly sale commissions paid?
Yearly sales are slightly different to monthly sales, and these are paid to you after a period of 2 months. So for example, if you made a yearly sale on the 26th of May, it would remain as ‘pending’ in your affiliate stats until the 26th July (2 months later), and would be paid to you on the next payout date – the 1st August.
Where can I check how much I’ve earned?
Clicks/sales are registered on your affiliate stats page:
==> Affiliate Stats
There are many options on this page that allow you to closely analyze your stats, and these will help you to fine tune your campaign and spot how well your promotions are working.
I have approved commissions in my affiliate stats, but I haven't been paid. Why?
The most likely reason here is you have incorrect information on your affiliate profile page. To locate this, open up the 'Affiliate Program' tab on your WA dashboard, select 'My Profile', and then 'Payment Details'. Enter the correct information on the next page and then save. NOTE: Make sure you set the payout amount to whatever is suitable for you.
Can I still promote Wealthy Affiliate if I decide to leave at some point in the future?
We do allow non-members to promote WA, but if decide to leave you would need to contact either Kyle or Carson before leaving and inform that you wish to continue with your promotions. They will then ensure that your affiliate connection is maintained.
I’ve heard about ‘tracking ID’s’...what are they, and how can they help me?
Tracking ID’s (also known as TID’s) allow you to assign a specific piece of code to your affiliate link so that you can spot exactly where your clicks/sales are coming from. This will help you to understand which of your promotions are working better than others, allowing you to focus more on proven tactics that work.
Tracking ID’s are easy to set up, and we have a section that will build your links for you:
==> Create tracking ID's
You also have the choice to create a link that will send your visitors to specific pages at WA via your affiliate link, and this will further increase your potential of making sales and fine tuning your campaign.
You can also apply tracking ID’s to banner ads, and I created a tutorial that explains how to do this:
==> Add tracking ID's to banners
I notice there’s an opt in form on the WA homepage and I wondered what happens if people I send to WA leave their details?
This is actually GOOD news for you! The Internet Wealth Guide is designed to introduce people to Internet marketing, and if your visitors sign up for the guide, your affiliate ID is associated with them. This means that if they join having read the guide or emails that Kyle & Carson follow up with, you get credited with the sale.
How do I offer one of Kyle & Carson’s guides as a bonus?
All members can offer a copy of either ‘Who Loves Money’, ‘Beating Adwords’, or ‘Inside The List’ as a bonus to those that join WA through their links. Your links for each guide can be found on the following page:
What's the most effective way to promote WA?
There are no right or wrong ways to promote WA, but building a website is vital for long term success. We have 2 options for WA members...
==> Wordpress Express & the Blog & Funnel System
Both these systems are designed to help you build a website as efficiently as possible, and come complete with training tutorials.
For non-member affiliates, we suggest you use a self-hosted Wordpress website.
I've been through the process of setting up a Wordpress website, but my domain is not showing anything?
This is likely to be because the DNS have not been successfully transferred over to WA as yet. If this problem still exists after 36 hours, contact Kyle or Carson and they will look into it for you.
I've set up my blog & funnel, but when I opt in to my list I get some kind of "Oops...this account doesn't exist" error. What the heck is that all about?
This is because the email list name you entered when setting up your blog, and the actual list inside Aweber, are not exactly the same. For example, during the process of setting up your blog and funnel you name your list as "mybloglist", and that exact same name must used inside Aweber.
If you've already created your blog and the 2 list names don't match, create a new list inside Aweber with the same name you used when setting up the blog and it will work.
I get that building a website is the right way forward, but is there a really easy way to promote WA without a website?
Yes there is...the WA Shoutout system is perfect for sharing quality content with your social connections via Facebook and/or Twitter, with just the click of a button! More details can be found on the following page:
==> WA Shoutout
Please Note: The Shoutout system is only available to current members.
