Moz's Algorithm for Domain Authority
Some of the crucial factors that determine the Domain Authority (DA) of websites are:
- MozTrust
- MozRank
- Link profile
Certainly, two-thirds of the DA factors are based on Moz’s owned structures.
According to Moz, more than 40 factors are used to determine Domain Authority (DA). Thus, increasing Domain Authority (DA) is not as easy and fast as building other metrics when it comes to improving Google PageRank for your website.
Other metrics used to determine Domain Authority (DA) are affected by your link profile. Additionally, your link profile is extremely crucial in as much as it's specifically mentioned by Moz.
So, there's something here that you must take note of: You must regard Domain Authority (DA) enhancement as a working strategy for SEO so far Moz leverages a myriad of crucial factors in its own algorithm.
Building your Domain Authority (DA) should be a crucial part of your SEO tactics.
Without any doubt, this is actually where so many people missed the road. They don't regard Domain Authority (DA) as an integral part of their SEO strategies.
The Fact About Domain Authority (DA)
The fact is that Domain Authority (DA) is the summation of numerous sections, and you must focus deeply on all of the sections in order to increase your Domain Authority (DA).
It’s crucial to note that the domain authority (DA) scale is logarithmic.
What is meant by the term "Logarithmic?"
Below is my own definition as a Mathematician. Logarithmic means that the scale rises geometrically. It means, the scale’s “Length” from 60 to 61 is greater than the “Length” from 50-51.
What does this imply practically?
Below is what Moz says:
"We score Domain Authority on a 100-point, logarithmic scale. Thus, it’s significantly easier to grow your score from 20 to 30 than it is to grow from 70 to 80".
For those waiting for Moz confirmation email - check in the "promotion" or spam folders.
My website has a score of 19. The only source of external linking domains is the comments I left on WA members sites. Since then I stopped adding my domain to the comments. Some sites remove it later and the removal probably looks bad for DA.
In addition, these are mostly sites unrelated to my niche.
I think I should have some links on Quora, but I don't see it in the report.
Merry Christmas!!! I set up an account with MOZ and they sent me an link to complete the registration process, but never received it, I tried several times, don't know what the problem could ?
