You are about to post an ad for a product or service but, do you have a link to direct them to? Do you have a website to send them to? If not, you should stop here and get yourself setup on Squidoo or build yourself a "landing page" or "website" so that the consumer has something to click on and look at! If you do, great! Get your link ready and let's post an ad!

This is pretty simple, ready?

• Go to Craigslist.org
• Sign into your account
• Go to the home page
• Click on "post to classifieds" (top left of home page)
• New screen ask for the category you want to post in....pick it. I picked "services offered"
• New screen ask for the subcategory you want to post in...pick it. I picked "small biz ads"

Ok now the posting screen. There are three main things you will need to do here:

• Fill in the Title
• Fill in the Area (some ads have "amount" of item sold)
• Write your ad

So get all the details in the ad that you want your customer to see and check your work. Never hurts to double check things so you don't look foolish to the reader. Now just click the big "continue" button at the bottom of the page and fill in the secutiry code on the screen that follows and - WALA! You just posted your first Craigslist ad! Congrats!
