This is such that your intended subscribers will be eager to opt-in and see what it contains. The lead promising to deliver value in a year will get less attention when compared to a lead promising to deliver value in less than 2 weeks. Promise something achievable with a short period.

Don’t over promise and under deliver, rather promise on deliverable values. Another thing is to remember you are not out for a one time sale. Rather you are looking to building relationships. So your lead magnet must perform and deliver good value. This will earn you their trust.
