The Bad
Now we have a heck of a lot of keywords with too high QSR. They come up as Orange or Red and have very low SEO Power. Do they have any worth? Need they be tossed into the abyss of oblivion? I don’t think so.
When you writer an article or a blog or a webpage, you may be asked to enter keywords. This is always true with WordPress. After you write a blog or an article on WordPress do you just update or publish the thing? Or do you scroll down the page and put in the SEO information? Well, I didn’t even notice it was there for some time. I scrolled down by chance.
Well, use this section to put in the SEO information. First you want to put in a title. Then you add a description. AND then you add keywords. The keywords should be relevant to the content of the article. Take those broad unselected keyword list and add the keywords that are relevant no mater if thay are Red, Orange or Green or Purple with Pink Polka Dots, for that matter. This is a META file and some search engines actually look at it. It can’t hurt to have lots of keywords.
Look at a number of websites. Right click on the page and select Page Source. Now see if you can find the meta file and the list of keywords. You will see that many sites have very long keyword lists. There must be a reason for that. So it can’t hurt you to add a lot of keywords into your meta file.
Now maybe you will not get much out of this. But it will make you fell good. Kyle or Carson will have to tell us if this is a good practice or not.
Note: When you look at the source of a competitors page, you can copy his keywords if you want. Maybe that is why some pages have the source code blocked. Also, if you see some nice formatting on a page and you don’t know how to do such HTML, just copy the part of the page you want and put it into your HTML editor and see what happens.

Interesting John. I am curious if Kyle or Carson could comment on the amount of keywords entered in the SEO section. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for sharing. I've been curious for a while now about if its better to have 1 or 2 KW's or as many as you think will be relevant.
