This is all I am going to cover in this tutorial on Introduction to GIMP. If you are ready to continue learning more about GIMP go to the next tutorial GIMP: Settings You Can Customize Part 1 and get started on discovering the different settings you can customize.
Just as with internet marketing, GIMP can be complicated to learn, so little by little, with playing around with it, you will become more comfortable.
I encourage to check out the content menus in GIMP which often have more options than the windows that I covered do.

Love Gimp!! I discovered GIMP when I discovered Open Office. Great open source products for those who would rather not user Microsoft! Great tutorial!

Hi Tim:
This tutorial is only an introduction to GIMP - it is not a complete cover everything there to learn about GIMP. I plan on doing multiple separate tutorials on GIMP, but this tutorial scratches the surface. It took me a while to sit down with it and start to learn it.
