External and Internal Links Offer Benefits
- Links to external sources (Maximum 3)
Builds Trust with search engines: The popularity of a web page increases when it is linked to authoritative sites. External links can affect your site's reputation. Search engines can see the content from high authority domains linking to your site, which allows it to better understand your niche. It will also trust your website.
Brand building: You can easily expand your reach by linking to other websites. An SEO manager might notice a link you have created from a blog post to another company. It is a way to establish a rapport with others and can lead to a mutually beneficial relationship. You can also reach out to other businesses and possibly backlink to their site.
Loyalty increases: You show your customer that you care by including external links. These links are important to ensure that your customers have the information they need and the resources they desire.
- Building more Internal Links (Maximum 7)
Too many external links can make your readers unhappy. Concentrate more on the internal links.
Your site will be easier to use if you do internal linking. They don't have to go through your blog archives and then search for the link they need. The link is already in the content/blog that you provided.
It's placed at the perfect time and in the most pertinent place for the reader. Your site will be easy to navigate and useful if you have many carefully planned internal links. These links make your site more engaging and appealing to visitors.
Internal links will enhance your SEO. Google will see your website as more valuable if other niche-related websites connect to it. This will improve your chances of being found on search engines.
Internal links keep readers engaged:Your visitors will spend more time on your website than they will diverting to other sites. This reduces your site's bounce rate, which is good, just what you want to do. Internal links make your site a map with all points easily available.
This allows you to organize your website more efficiently by separating the content. Your visitors will spend more time on your website reading old posts, learn new information, and become more familiar with your site. That is what you want!
Can you please clarify something? Are you saying that for a post of 1000 words you have 4 to 5 links going to your other related posts and 4 to 5 links coming inbound to this post from your other relevant posts? What are the 7 internal links for? Sorry, I am a little confused.
Thanks very much,
Barbara
