What You Need to Have a High-Converting Landing Page
To effectively convert leads to sales, your landing page should have certain things.
1. It Should Have a Catchy Headline
When a visitor gets to your landing page, the type of headline that welcomes him is very important. As the first thing that will get his attention, it can ignite his curiosity about the content of the page.
A captivating headline lets the user know that you have what he seeks. A headline is usually made of just a few words but those words can make a user stay on the site or make him leave. A proper headline should:
- Inform the visitor what your product is all about
- Should be in a simple, straightforward, and understandable language and show the important points clearly
- Be relevant to what has brought the user to that page. If it does not contain what was advertised, then the user will be moved to seek what he is searching for elsewhere
- Show that you understand the needs of your users.
So, on arriving on that page, users have to see exactly what they are looking for. You may also wish to work with sub-headlines to expand your main headline.

Thank you for sharing.
To make sure I understood your message if we are writing a content about dog food, we should provide as much information as possible to make them a buying decision. How about the prize? Should it be mentioned in that content or in the drop down minus categorized by age for example? Or it should be mentioned in the content?

Hi Israel, this is excellent, thank you. I still have to create a landing page for both of my sites.
With regards to the CTA, I believe one button should go at the top or middle of the promotion and another at the end. Some are more impulsive than others and want to jump into action. I'm perhaps one of them. If I am convinced about the product or service I dont want to scroll down very long text to find the CTA button.
The alternative is to have good sub headings and pictures as you mention to be able to skim read.
What are your views on this! Thanks again and have a nice day. Marisa

At the moment I am making a landing page. It will be part of a campaign in Google Ads. As you explain, the images and titles must be precise and attractive to the potential client. Another great teacher tutorial Israel!!
