4. The Body Copy

This is a tricky part that you need to get right. It has to capture and expand on everything that you have talked about in your headline. You also have to use a persuasive and compelling language as you encourage them to make a purchasing decision.

At this point, you need to bring up your writing and persuasive skills. Remember that you are supposed to be able to hold your customers there until they make a purchasing decision. It is also the page where you allow your prospect to learn as much as possible about the product.

Your words should not be too many or too few. Use words that are easy to understand for your prospects. The nature of the product you are marketing determines the number of words that you need.

Also, make sure that you don’t miss out on including the benefits your audience will derive from using your product. You may also want to let them in on some things they can lose from not taking your offer.

Better still, let them in on different problems that your product or service is in a good position to solve for them. You should let them see that they have come to the right place to get their problem solved.

Itemize every solution and pleasure that they will derive from using your product. Pictures would do very well here too. You may have a picture of people who are feeling happy and showing pleasure from using your product. Make your prospects feel proud to associate with your product.

Thank you for sharing.
To make sure I understood your message if we are writing a content about dog food, we should provide as much information as possible to make them a buying decision. How about the prize? Should it be mentioned in that content or in the drop down minus categorized by age for example? Or it should be mentioned in the content?

Yeah, you need detailed content to properly show the audience what you're teaching or talking about. You only need to state the price right on your sales page. Your landing page is mainly to drive prospects to your sales page. I hope it helps!

Hi Israel, this is excellent, thank you. I still have to create a landing page for both of my sites.
With regards to the CTA, I believe one button should go at the top or middle of the promotion and another at the end. Some are more impulsive than others and want to jump into action. I'm perhaps one of them. If I am convinced about the product or service I dont want to scroll down very long text to find the CTA button.
The alternative is to have good sub headings and pictures as you mention to be able to skim read.
What are your views on this! Thanks again and have a nice day. Marisa

Oh yes, that makes sense, Marisa! There could be cases when you may need to input more than one CTA on a single page, and your illustration is a perfect example of that. You are on track. Please, keep on keeping on.
