The Good, The Bad and the Ugly

So to begin with, what makes an excellent comment?

First of, we are looking to create ongoing conversation, so what better way than asking a question related to the content, for instance if the site is related WA, you can ask what's included in the starter Membership, or how long does it take usually to build a website? Basically you are attempting to to get a conversation going.

Also by now, you're familiar with keywords, if you can find the keyword in the first paragraph, then by all means, use it in your comment.

Three different styles of comments

Ok, so let's jump right in and begin with three styles of comments. All have been scored on a scale of 1 to !0

The Good

A well crafted Comment

The Following comment is personable and engaging, it also contains key elements for a successful comment. It contains the Longtail keyword, in bold here as the example, however use normal text when writing your own comment.

Also, it contains a question, which also elicits Conversation.

Score 10/10

The Bad

The rushed Comment

The following comment contains only a few lines, is generic in nature, it's barely passable, and it could have been much better

Score 6.5/10

The Ugly

The total waste of time Comment

Score 0/10

The example below, shows a feedback rather than a comment. The receiver will most likely delete it, not offer you a comment in return, and will probably be really annoyed.

Never leave feedback as a comment, it's just a waste of time

What to do should you receive Feedback as a Comment?

~Disapprove the comment

~ Send the person a friendly PM, explaining why you disapproved his comment,

~ You can also copy and paste a tutorial to your desktop, having it handy to include in your PM, and "kindly" ask him/her to read it...

Well, I really hope you enjoyed this tutorial. You can leave your questions and comments below, it's much appreciated.

I hope You "LIKE"

Joseph

Generally, we shouldn't comment much on the design and format as these are individual's liking. Google loves rich and unique contents with photo images and linkings for top rankings of our websites and this is somethings we need to remind each others should we fall short of them.

Joseph. Thanks for such an inclusive training on a sore subject that often appears on our WA blog central. This will definitely be a useful tool going forward to refer people to when there's any confusion. Geoff.

Hi Jozeph!
Actually , I'm on Lesson 9, but I have two questions:

First about those four boxes to check off, so the privacy policy does't get ranked. How do I Save them, they're in the SEO section?

Second: when I want to pre-publish, without Google seeing, which Publish button do I use?

Thanks so much for your time!

They're saved when you publish the page, and also, when you have something in draft mode, it is also 'not seen.' If you want to Publish without Google seeing you use the same four boxes.
