In order to apply SWOT Analysis to your Business Goal Setting, you must identify your personal strengths and weaknesses (internal source) and the opportunities and threats (external source).

Allow me to apply my personal SWOT Analysis as an example in Business Goal Setting. The following are the list of the things that I have identified that will help me in reinforcing my SMART Objectives:

STRENGTHS

  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to stay focus
  • Patient
  • Persistent
  • Manage time wisely

WEAKNESSES

  • Writer’s block
  • Tiredness
  • Easily gets frustrated

OPPORTUNITIES

  • Networking
  • Passive Income
  • Enhance writing abilities through blogging
  • Open to other business opportunities

THREATS

  • Time constraints
  • Domestic Job
  • Demands of other jobs
  • Other Websites with same niche

Thank you, Marion. It's good that you appreciate my first tutorial. I'm quite anxious of how it will turn out because it's not a technical thing. I believe in the effectivity of setting up SMART goals and SWOT analysis in my professional growth so I beleive that it can also be effective in setting business goals. :)
