Now that you've got Boards & Lists, you need to have something on your List

Let's take another look at that image of the Boards and Lists. Here it is again.

What you want to do now is add some items to the lists. See the " + Add a card" on each list? If you click on that you can add items to your list. Check this out. I've added items to my lists below.

See how my list items have now shown up underneath the List title? And the best thing is that you can drag and drop those Cards between any of the lists whenever you want.

In addition, you can add labels and color code things plus some other cool stuff like adding due dates, checklists, attachments and descriptions.

The best thing to do is simply sign up for a Trello account and then start working with it to see how you can make it work for you.

But now, I promised you a free Trello Blog Editorial Calendar Template. So continue on to get that plus a special Ninja Trello Tip!

Great Training Mary! I like how you organized the boards with post topics and keywords. Also appreciate the freebie at the end.

You got me thinking if I should organize with Trello. Currently using SiteContent and Google Docs. I think Trello May be more organized. Thanks for sharing!

You're welcome! I use Google docs for some things too, but for me it's much faster to move things around on Trello lists so that's why I liked it. And one thing I forgot to mention in the training is that there is a Trello app so I can use it on my phone and tablet when I'm on the move! This is one of my favorite benefits because I always seem to get ideas when I'm out running around LOL! With Trello I can not them down immediately.

Super glad to hear Trello has an app! I use the google doc app all the time, for your same scenario. I’m giving Trello a go! Thanks to you! Shooting to organize my next 3 months of blog posting schedule and future “ideas” in one place. Thanks again! Kim Wolfe
