OK, we've created the subdomain. Here's a Reminder again
subdomain.dkohara.com
Find the Subdomain in your Domain list. It'll be below the parent domain
Zoom across to the right hand side of the page and you'll see a little button called 'Settings'. Click this and you'll see a short menu appear. The top option is the one you want
Redirect
Click this and a box will appear for you to type in the URL you want the subdomain to redirect to. This could be your ugly affiliate link, or any other page.
Once you're happy with the page (check that you haven't spelled it incorrectly and that you've got the right http or https details),
then click Save Settings

Just a little question, we have, as Premium members 25 domains, and although I use subdomains for different things, I believed that each of them would be considered their own domain, thereby being one of the 25. The way you said it, made me wonder if this is not so. It would be wonderful to have this cleared up because that would change a lot for me.

That’s true. Amazon have some pretty draconian rules! At least they operate their own url shortening service as part of Amazon Associates. However, whether affiliates continue to use them after their commission cuts remains to be seen.

Now, should I be concerned about any repercussions of any sort in doing this?
Can I post to FB, you know how finicky they can get, or any social media for that matter...and do you think your method is better than using a 'bitly shortener or even pretty links"...thnx for taking the time to reply.

It'll never solve Facebook's prejudice towards Affiliate Marketing. That's a real stick in the craw sore point with me, but there are so many better places to promote than FB anyway.
Any system that chooses to try to resolve the url is always still going to uncover the underlying affiliate link if it exists, but it just LOOKS neater.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/cmaclellan FB is OK with one off affiliate links in posts, but the moment you try to Boost a post with their ad system, or run any ad campaign, it throws a wobbly and prevents the ad from running. FB do not like affiliate marketers. LittleMama here had her FB group closed by them.

It's just neat. There are so many other things you can do with Subdomains as well as this (install forums and other stuff), but this is Subdomains in their bare-naked simplest, most useful form.
