Hashtags

I first noticed the use of hash tags on Twitter as a way of making it easier for people to search and find, follow, and contribute to a conversational topic.

As we now know the use of a hashtag followed by a word has spread to the majority of social media platforms, just to clarify the symbol that is used is: “#”

I thought I'd take you through a quick refresher as I have seen a few posts about twitter an Pinterest of late so I thought it wouldn't hurt to type something up especially for new members.
