In the front-end area the toolbar looks different and its functions have also changed. This time if you hover over the site name, you'll see a menu that will allow you to access the dashboard and to manage your themes, widgets and custom menus:
There is a button for the customizer which will be discussed later in this tutorial and of course, the already discussed "New" button.
Now, if you navigate to your only existing post (Hello world), a new edit button will appear, which basically, appears on any page, post, index, etc where you have a piece of content that can be edited in the back-end area:
This button will also allow you to easily switch between the front-end and the back-end views. If you click the "Edit Post" button, you'll be taken to the back-end area where you can edit the given post.
In other words, the toolbar will give you quick access to anything you want to edit instantly.
Finally, as you are going to start adding plugins, some of them will also add other useful, additional features to the Wordpress toolbar.
... gold-starred this one for reference ease ...
