Set up a Facebook Page for Success

Get started by first entering the required info, including the details about your own website.

Make sure your audience knows when your business is available to everyone. This information will appear in search results.

Do not forget to complete the Add an Action button section.

Facebook's built-in call-to-action button allows you to quickly give your audience what they want and allow them to interact with your business right away.

Use the right CTA button to brand your business. This will prompt customers to book an appointment with you, shop your store, or download your apps.

Click the blue box labeled Add Button to add your CTA. Next, choose the type of button that you wish. Edit the Action button

You can always return to these steps later if you don't wish to do them all now. Scroll down to Edit Page Information in the Manage Page menu.

You can choose to remove your Facebook Business Page from offline mode if you need to work on details.

  • Click Settings from the Manage Page menu.
  • Then click General.
  • Click on Page Visibility to change the status of the Page unpublished.

When you are ready to republish your page, follow the same steps.

Step 6: Create Your First Post

You should first post valuable content before you invite people to like your Facebook page. You can create your own unique pieces of content.

To ensure your visitors stay on your Facebook Business Page for the long-term, make sure you offer value.

Step 7: Invite your audience

Your Business Page has now become a recognized online presence that will let customers feel at ease connecting with your business.

You now need followers!

Invite your Facebook friends to like your Page. Scroll down to the bottom and expand the section called "Introduce Your Page"

To open a list with your Facebook friends, click the blue Invite Friends button. Click Send Invites to select the friends you wish to invite.

Now that you have created a business page on Facebook you are ready to let the world know about what you do!

Hello Lily, just viewed your training, what a perfect time for you to post this. I recently posted activities on Facebook and LinkedIn thru a plug-in, but they went under my personal profile, not what I wanted to accomplish. Building a Facebook Business page is just the exposure needed, I hope. Have a great rest of your weekend, Lily.

H8 Roger,

I did the same thing and realised I needed to fix it too.
It really is quite simple creating a business page, it remembering all their rules that gets tricky. 😆

Warm regards,
Lily 😁🎶
