Edit your first post and page

Every wordpress site comes with a hello world post and a sample page.

Editing those is a great way to start. You can also rename them if you like. Some people delete them and just add all new.

Pro's and con's as always.

Just see what works for you.

Add a privacy statement as adviced or an affiliate disclosure. This tells your readers that you use coockies and might be rewarded for your efforts. In Europe, you need to do that explicitally. I will explain that in the next training about plugins.

Do not forget to add your own images (respect copyrights of others) and do comment them in your media library.

Tip :

you can edit the provided comment to your liking. Great to have at least one.

Why am i doing that? Because it will be picked up by the crawlers immediately... more on the subject in next training. And also on plugins as promised... a nutshell as allways. Clear and simple is my motto.
