Step 3: Confirm Analytics is Correctly Set Up
Most of your Google Analytics data only show up in your Analytics reports at least 24 hours after it occurs. This simply implies that you’ll have to check for the data in any given day 24 hours later. This is to allow Google some time to process all the data being collected and make it ready for your consumption.
If you really want to test this out, install Google Analytics and visit a few pages on your site. You will find that the data regarding your most recent visits and all you did on the site might not have been processed yet by Google Analytics. So, you’ll have to wait at least 24 hours prior to checking your Analytics reports again.
There is a feature in your Google Analytics account through which you can check the Real-Time reports and stats – giving you the most current data as it’s just happening on your site. Though you may not have access to so much of the overall reports expected, you just don’t need to wait several hours before you can see what is currently happening on your site.
With the Real-Time reports, you have an absolute way to confirm truly that you’ve successfully set up Google Analytics on your WordPress site.
Your training is excellent.
