Resize Your Image
This is one of the two tools on Preview which I use the most.
I don't know about you, but I find it incredibly frustrating that when you are adding an image to your post on Wordpress, your only option is to make it smaller - there is no way to make it bigger.
Conversely, when I am using the images on Sitecontent, I find they are often too big, so I tend to take a screenshot of that image and then resize it on Preview. Of course, in that case you could also make it smaller in Wordpress if you prefer.
Once your image is uploaded to Preview, you can edit it by rotating it or flipping it before you resize it if you wish.
Resize your Image
Click on Tools, shown by the red arrow, then click on Resize, shown by the blue arrow.
The Resize window will then open up.
You can choose a "custom" size, as shown here:
Or you can choose your own size, as here:
When you click on "width" you will see that the height changes proportionally.
If you don't want that to happen then make sure that the "Scale proportionally" box is un-ticked.
You will immediately see your image change size.
If re-sizing is all that you want to do, then take a screenshot of your resized image.
You can either do that in your usual way, or you can click on File > Screenshot.
You can also "Save" your image if you wish.
You now have your resized image in your Desktop.
