Method #1: using the blockquote HTML tag in your Wordpress text editor

The syntax is extremely simple ...

Here it is:

The HTML <blockquote> element indicates that the enclosed text is an extended quotation.

Usually, this is rendered visually by indentation.

A URL for the source of the quotation may be given using the cite ATTRIBUTE.

A text representation of the source can be given using the <cite> ELEMENT.

And here is the result (with a given CSS styling):

Simple as that!

No. if you uninstall the plugin, Wordpress won't recognize the given shortcode anymore.
