When blogging, it's inevitable that you are going to want to share or comment on content you found on other sites.

And, as part of that, most like ly you'll want to bring some of that material onto your site ...

But search engines frown upon duplicate content and often these penalties can, quite literally, kill a site that was once ranking well.

And today I saw a blog/question posted by a WA member:

"I always was under the impression that as long as you used quotation marks (and the name of the originator of the comment/quote in question) that it was not considered plagiarism. However, the Plagiarism checker picks it up."

I think that is a pretty important and common question, so I've decided to create this short tutorial to clarify the issue ...

Ready?

Let's dance!

Hi Z,

Nice! This is very helpful... I'm going to be using a quote soon.

If I install this Perfect Pullquotes plugin, can I uninstall the plugin after I have my quote in my content?

Thank you.

Hi Monica!

No. if you uninstall the plugin, Wordpress won't recognize the given shortcode anymore.
