4. Add Pages to Your Sitemap
Your sitemap is a convoy to make search engine spider understand which of the pages on your website are significant.
Though including a page in your sitemap isn’t a guarantee for indexation, but failing to add such significant pages will reduce the probability of getting pages indexed.
If you’re running a WordPress site, it’s insanely easy to build and submit a sitemap leveraging a plugin like Yoast SEO, All in One SEO, and others (but I use Yoast SEO).
Once you’re done building and submitting your sitemap in Google Search Console (GSC), it can be viewed in the Sitemaps report.
Verify to ensure all the pages you want to index are added. Also, check to ensure all pages you don’t want to index are not added to your sitemap.
